MONSTER WORLD

Moments of pop culture revolution come at certain intervals — ones that are dictated by a myriad of factors: politics, technology, and even geological patterns. But what about monsters? In MONSTER WORLD, Detective Hank Barrymore becomes part of a pop culture movement when he investigates murders taking place on the set of a famous film studio. What he uncovers is both disturbing and supernatural: monsters under the control of occult groups, used as props and passed off as expensive makeup effects! Behind everything is John Price, whom Barrymore may remember from a particularly bizarre battle fought during World War I…

Nothing is as it seems in MONSTER WORLD, which fuses hard-boiled crime fiction with monsters and black magic. Horror maven Steve Niles has teamed up with AGP Publisher Philip Kim to tell the story, with celebrated noir artist Piotr Kowalski inking the pages with smoke and whiskey.
